This Victorian farmhouse is situated at the end of a mile-long rough track and has magnificent views across to the Isle of Jura. Located on the eastern side of the island, this is the only house to boast 180 degree sea views. A very comfortable and well equipped house for up to 2 families.

PRICE RANGE: £375 - £1,495 per week

 

On the ground floor there is a large kitchen/dining room, a sitting room with an open fire, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a shower-room with toilet and laundry facilities. There is a large front and back porch with space for coats and boots.

Upstairs there is one double room, two twin bedrooms and a large bathroom with bath and shower.

The house is well equipped and has a dishwasher,  washing machine and clothes dryer.

There is a large garden surrounded by a low drystone wall.  There is outside garden furniture.

Please note that there is a minimum charge of 1 week for this property. It may be possible to reduce the rate for short breaks in some periods, please ask.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Provisional bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 40% deposit. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance, as the deposit is non-refundable.

Bookings will remain firm provided the deposit is received within 7 days.

The balance due must be received twelve weeks prior to the period booked. Bookings cancelled after this time will be charged full rental. Any changes to bookings prior to full payment may incur a £50 administration charge.

Payment should be made by debit card, credit card (incurs a 2% charge) or by cheque made payable to “Colonsay Estate Cottages". Cheques should be sent to The Bookings Office, Colonsay Estate Cottages, Isle of Colonsay, Argyll, PA61 7YP.

Colonsay Estate Cottages reserves the right to amend confirmed bookings with respect to accommodation and you will be notified of any alterations prior to your arrival. If it is not possible to find alternative accommodation you will be notified at the earliest opportunity and refunded in full.

Colonsay Estate Cottages expects properties to be left clean and tidy on departure and reserves the right to charge a minimum of £50 for properties left unclean on departure.

Electricity is charged separately. Your electricity meter will be read on arrival
and departure and you will be charged at cost.

If you are staying in a house or cottage and would like coal/anthracite delivered, it must be ordered at the time of final payment. The coal/anthracite is supplied in 25kg bags. The coal costs £11.00 inc VAT per bag. The minimum order is 2 bags.

A maximum of 2 dogs may be allowed by prior arrangement.  There is a charge of £30 per dog.

On arrival, a security deposit of £100 (apartments) or £200 (cottages) must be
paid, or credit card details given, to our Administration Manager. On departure,
the deposit will be refunded less the cost of electricity, any breakages and extra
cleaning costs.
