We have weekly events in The Colonsay and activities and island-wide special events throughout the year.

From our annual Easter egg hunt and games in the Colonsay hotel garden to the Saturday night ceilidh in the village hall, you will find it listed here.


Colonsay is holding its first FESTIVAL OF SPRING in May 2011.  It will run for 3 weeks from 29th April to 20th May and will offer an extraordinary range of guided walks, talks, activities, lectures and workshops.  From birds and wildflowers  to painting and sculpting, foraging and cooking and golf tournaments.  There will be some evening concerts and plays as well.  Something for everyone!  For more information and bookings...

BRIDGE WEEK in The Colonsay hotel from Monday 2nd May to Friday 6th May.  Renowned bridge teacher, Celestria Alexander-Sinclair, will be providing tutorials and supervised play for beginners and intermediate players throughout the week.  £50, HALF PRICE FOR HOTEL GUESTS.

Next year we also have the third COLONSAY FOLK FESTIVAL to look forward to in September.
